The University Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Freedom 54-35. Winning may never get old, but University sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacqueline Leap, who scored 12 points. Jasmine Fajardo was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
University pushed their record up to 8-11 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Freedom, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 17 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
University and the Titans will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Olympia is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Freedom, they will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Nona has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11.
