On Friday, The Cate Rams faced the Flintridge Prep Wolves in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Cate came out on top against Flintridge Prep by a score of 33-25. 33 seems to be a good number for Cate as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Owen Willingham, who picked up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Noah Willingham also helped out as he racked up 118 receiving yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Cate, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points per game. As for Flintridge Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2.
Cate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Flintridge Prep also has no future games currently scheduled.
