After a string of three wins, the Paoli Rams's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Washington.
Paoli's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carley Higgins, who scored 16 points. The contest was Higgins' 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lilly Hall, who scored 13 points.
Even though they lost, Paoli were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Paoli now has a losing record at 6-7. As for New Washington, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.
Paoli will take on Perry Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Washington, they will head out on the road to face off against Clarksville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
