The Superior Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 64-28 loss at the hands of Fort Thomas. Superior has not had much luck with Fort Thomas recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Fort Thomas found their leader in underclassman Damare Dosela, who scored ten points along with six assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Olivar, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Superior's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Fort Thomas, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Superior will face off against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf is on a four-game streak of home losses, Superior a 12-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. Fort Thomas will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Mogollon at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th.
