Williamstown was led to victory by Evan Bailey and Nick Mascitti. Bailey scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Mascitti scored 22 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mascitti scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Laggner, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Williamstown now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Stowe, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Williamstown will finish 2023 at home by hosting Winooski at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Vermont (Winooski is ranked 21st, while Williamstown is ranked 23rd). Stowe is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Northfield at 6:00 a.m. on January 3, 2024.
