The Texas City Stingarees's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Iowa Colony.
It was another big night for BJ Gill, who scored 24 points along with 3 steals for Iowa Colony. Another player making a difference was Robert Greene, who scored 15 points.
Texas City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Iowa Colony, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Texas City will take on Jersey Village at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Iowa Colony, they will head out on the road to face off against Clear Brook at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
