On Tuesday, the Imagine Prep Storm faced the Eduprize Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Imagine Prep managed a 63-58 win over the Eagles. The win was familiar territory for Imagine Prep who now have four in a row.
Imagine Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hayden Kelton led the charge by scoring 21 points. Another player making a difference was Brady Heuseveldt, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Imagine Prep pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.9 points. As for Eduprize, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Imagine Prep will take on the Sun Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. ASU Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Storm are ranked 13th). As for Eduprize, they will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
