Chestnut Ridge moved up to 343 from 408 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Freelance. The Lions were able to move up by beating Bald Eagle Area 23-10.
Chestnut Ridge made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,758 from 9,357. The advance stemmed from a 23-10 victory over the Bald Eagles last week.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, St. Joseph's Catholic Academy's Phillip Fenstermacker and Mike Jabco have proven to be a lethal combination. Fenstermacker has thrown for 396 yards this season, while Jabco has 14 catches for 197 yards. Beau Bosch from Max Shoemaker's team leads the league in rushing with 209 yards.
Kahsim Buey broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 53-yard run against Curwensville. Buey closed out the game, recording 107 yards on the ground as the Wolves lost to the Golden Tide.
