On Friday North Nodaway/West Nodaway take on South Nodaway/Jefferson at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: North Nodaway/West Nodaway lost to East Atchison last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-58. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 22-68, which was the final score in South Nodaway/Jefferson's tilt against Rock Port. South Nodaway/Jefferson were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 16-40.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-2. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
