Ian Fieber threw four touchdowns and
Sean Modster caught three as
Mission Viejo (Calif.) defeated Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, Calif.) 35-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Fieber to Modster in the first quarter, the Diablos were up 20-0 at the half.
Mission Viejo grew its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. MV scored once in the quarter on a
Tony Williams touchdown run.
Coming into the game the Diablos had allowed 19.1 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Mustangs well below their season average of 27.1 points scored per game.
The loss comes after Trabuco Hills defeated El Toro 24-21 last week.
Trabuco Hills (5-4) goes up against San Clemente in a South Coast game matchup next week, while Mission Viejo (9-0) locks horns with El Toro also in a South Coast game.
