Poquoson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to Grafton at home by a decisive 58-39 margin.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jayson Kell, who scored ten points. Dominic Galacgac was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Smithfield scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 80-33 victory over Windsor. That 80-33 margin sets a new team best for Smithfield this season.
Poquoson's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Smithfield, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Poquoson took a serious blow against Smithfield when the teams last played back in February, falling 85-52. Can Poquoson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
