Douglass won their last match against Patterson, and it was the same story this time around. Douglass were able to grind out a solid victory over Patterson on Friday, winning 24-16.
The win bumped Douglass' record up to 3-0. The loss dropped Patterson's record to 1-2.
Next week Douglass take on St. James at 12:00 PM. Patterson will be defending their home turf for the first time when they go up against Digital Harbor at 1:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win.
