WestSide has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the River View Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
WestSide scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past River View 62-37. WestSide pushed the score to 52-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders cut but never quite recovered from.
WestSide's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for River View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
WestSide took their victory against the Raiders when the teams last played on Wednesday by a conclusive 62-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for WestSide since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
