The Pike Valley Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lincoln Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pike Valley, who comes in off a win.
Pike Valley can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 52-22 win over Natoma.
Pike Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Breanna Reeves out in front who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Reeves has scored at least a third of Pike Valley's points. Another player making a difference was Alexis Martin, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Lincoln came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday and fell 44-35.
The win got Pike Valley back to even at 6-6. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Pike Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against the Leopards in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, sneaking past 42-39. Does Pike Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Leopards turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
