There's no place like home for Del Norte, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Melrose Buffaloes on Friday as the Del Norte Knights made off with a 66-44 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Del Norte's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Francois Satchivi, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. Gavin Gomez was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Del Norte's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Melrose, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season.

Del Norte wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-67 defeat against Highland on the 22nd. As for Melrose, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-42 victory against Rio Grande on the 18th.
