Loris found their leader in underclassman KHALID SHERMAN, who scored 20 points along with three steals. SHERMAN's trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was JAMARIUS WILSON, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Waccamaw's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Hart, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals. Hart hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerridan Burgess, who scored four points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Loris has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Waccamaw, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
