  Hannah Pegram made a big impact no matter where she played. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Pegram has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Pegram was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news, Franklin Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Gabrielle Pendola, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.  Addison Justham was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 Franklin Academy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-11. As for NCSSM: Durham, their defeat was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-13.
 Franklin Academy will take on Whiteville at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Whiteville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season. NCSSM: Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
