The Elyria Catholic Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-56 win over Midview. The win was just what Elyria Catholic needed coming off of a 75-51 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Isabelle Niederst, who dropped a double-double on 39 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Sawyer, who scored eight points.
Elyria Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Midview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.
Elyria Catholic will head out on the road to challenge the Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Ridgeville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Middies in Ohio (the Rangers are ranked 40th, while the Middies are ranked 251st).
