Dr. Krop has been on the road for nine straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Monsignor Pace Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dr. Krop scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Carol City 72-43 on the road. The win was just what Dr. Krop needed coming off of a 84-43 defeat in their prior contest.
Dr. Krop had a senior duo take command as Joseph Washington scored 28 points along with nine rebounds and six assists and Emmanuel Ferguson dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Washington has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Jordan Alexandre was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, Monsignor Pace had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against American Heritage by a score of 43-35 on Saturday.
Monsignor Pace's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jabari Dukes, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Jordan Moshe, who scored ten points.
Dr. Krop's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Monsignor Pace, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Dr. Krop might still be hurting after the 42-16 defeat they got from Monsignor Pace in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Dr. Krop, Kendrick Cela (who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
