After taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by
Kimere Brown in the second quarter, the Red Devils led 8-0 at the half.
Penns Grove grew its lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. PG scored two times in the third, including once on a
Craig Ransome touchdown run.
Deptford's lone touchdown came on a 66-yard pass from
Mike Alliano to
Ronald Whitaker in the fourth quarter.
The Carneys Point school went into the matchup giving up only 7.7 points per game.
A 68-0 Penns Grove victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The win brought Penns Grove's winning streak to three games.
