The  win was  the third in a row for South Sevier, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wasatch,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Coming up, South Sevier will venture away from home to  challenge Westlake  at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday. One thing working in Westlake's favor is that they have posted at least ten  runs  every time they've taken the field this season. As for Wasatch, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Canyon View  at 9:45  a.m.
