The Columbia Eagles will be playing at home against the Breese Central Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Columbia missed an extra point against Salem on Friday and it came back to haunt them. Columbia was just a hair shy of victory and fell 27-26 to Salem.
Columbia's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mason Voegele, who threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and Dalton Rainwater who picked up 59 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
