On Tuesday Connor Wood pitched six innings while giving up six earned runs off six hits. The performance also marked the most strikeouts (five) Wood has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one walk. This season, he has an ERA of 5.57 over 16.3 innings pitched.
