Strawberry Crest has gone a perfect 5-0 against King recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Strawberry Crest Chargers will be playing at home against the King Lions at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
King will be up against a hot Strawberry Crest squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. Strawberry Crest never let Riverview get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Saturday. The Chargers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four matches.

Chase Conti made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Strawberry Crest got a massive performance out of Matt Hall, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs Hall has posted since back in February of 2024. Toby Highsmith was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). They blew past Middleton 18-8 on Thursday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Nicholas Brown, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Hernandez, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
King always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
Strawberry Crest pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
Everything went Strawberry Crest's way against King when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Strawberry Crest made off with a 17-1 win. Will Strawberry Crest repeat their success, or does King have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
