Mantachie barely beat Alcorn Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 11-2 win on Wednesday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Mantachie now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Alcorn Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Coming up, Mantachie will host Mooreville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Alcorn Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Biggersville on the 5th.
