Underclassman Ryker Brennan came into Friday's match looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He wasn't messing around on Friday, striking out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Brennan and Timberlake will square off against Kellogg at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
