White House-Heritage can attribute much of their success to Pryce Payne, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Avery Coles, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Harpeth bumped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for White House-Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harpeth will take on Cheatham County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Cheatham County Central is ranked 354th, while Harpeth is ranked 332nd). As for White House-Heritage, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Trousdale County at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
