Cedarville can bid farewell to their 16-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against the Magazine Rattlers as the Cedarville Pirates made off with a 19-7 win. With that victory, the Pirates brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Justice Workman and Jax Cross did most of the damage at the plate: Workman scored five runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, while Cross went a perfect 5-for-5 with four stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Workman also brought in three RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gabe Gravelle, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-6.

Cedarville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cedarville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Magazine, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
