Spaulding has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on The Winnacunnet Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Spaulding's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Spaulding put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Nashua South 41-14 at home.
Meanwhile, Winnacunnet lost to Timberlane on the road by a decisive 21-6 margin on Friday. Winnacunnet has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Spaulding's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.3 points per game. As for Winnacunnet, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Spaulding and Winnacunnet were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but Spaulding suffered an agonizing 14-13 loss. Can Spaulding avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
