Palm Beach Gardens simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Jupiter 64-24 on the road. With Palm Beach Gardens ahead 42-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Palm Beach Gardens got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyana Poitier out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Poitier has scored at least 25% of Palm Beach Gardens' points. Another player making a difference was Latasha Whyte, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds.
Palm Beach Gardens' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.33 points. As for Jupiter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Palm Beach Gardens will head out on the road to face off against Olympic Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olympic Heights will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Palm Beach Gardens is ranked 57th). As for Jupiter, they will be playing at home against Dwyer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
