Even though the Harlem Bulldogs have not done well against the Greenbrier Wolfpack recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Harlem secured a 70-65 W over Greenbrier. The victory was all the more spectacular given Harlem's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Greenbrier is ranked 53rd).
Harlem got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bj Reese out in front who scored 16 points. The match was Reese's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kee Williams, who scored 15 points.
The victory got Harlem back to even at 3-3. As for Greenbrier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlem is on the road again on Saturday and play against Washington-Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Greenbrier, they will challenge Evans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Evans focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Saturday.
