Princeton is 9-1 against the Warriors since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Princeton Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Albany Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Princeton has five straight wins, the Warriors have three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Princeton can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 67-31 victory over Stanberry at home. Given Princeton's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 509th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Albany was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 40-35 to the Shamrocks.
Princeton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Albany, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Princeton was able to grind out a solid victory over the Warriors in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 53-43. Will Princeton repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
