Victoria West lost against Alamo Heights back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Warriors took  a  54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mules. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.
 Loss or not, Victoria West got some senior leadership from  Nolan Boyce and  Jeret Swanson.  Boyce threw for 311 yards and two  touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, while  Swanson picked up 158 receiving yards and one  score. Swanson's longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jenesis Jeffries, who rushed for 61 yards and one  TD on only six carries.
 It was another big night for  Dk Garza, who rushed for 512 yards and five  touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 85 receiving yards and one  score for Alamo Heights. Garza's rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 128  rushing yards.  Easton Stone was another key player, throwing for 124 yards and a pair of  TDs.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Victoria West  fell to 6-1. As for Alamo Heights,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 6-1.
 Victoria West has already played their next game,  a  24-14  defeat against Boerne on the 17th. As for Alamo Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  62-7  win against Veterans Memorial on the 17th.
