Volleyball Recap: Spring Lake Park Takes a Loss

Spring Lake Park saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers by a score of 2-1.

Spring Lake Park's offense was headlined by Lea Vrabec and Adeline Wolfgang, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Taylor Blahna and her 20 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Spring Lake Park has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Spring Lake Park has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Winona on the 13th. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Le Sueur-Henderson on the 15th.
