After two games on the road, Hominy is heading back home. They will take on the Barnsdall Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Hominy pushed their score all the way to 61 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Drumright.
Meanwhile, Barnsdall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 58-53 to Copan. Barnsdall has struggled against Copan recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Hominy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Barnsdall, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Hominy was able to grind out a solid win over Barnsdall in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 45-37. Does Hominy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Barnsdall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
