High Desert recap September 10, 2013
Kern Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 465 from 523 this week, the biggest jump in High Desert. The Broncs were able to make move up by beating Corcoran 28-19.
Frazier Mountain took down Albert Einstein Academy 82-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Daniel Andrade ran for 159 yards during the win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Kern Valley's Dalton Gallis and Cody Little have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Gallis has thrown for 192 yards this season, while Little has 6 catches for 166 yards. Andrade from the Falcons leads the league in rushing with 159 yards.
Ben Goffinet and Brandon Deckard's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,467 from 7,476. The improvement came about via a 28-19 victory over the Panthers last week.
