Bishop Eustace Prep and Shawnee are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Crusaders will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Renegades at 4:00 p.m. Bishop Eustace Prep is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Bishop Eustace Prep proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lenape, sneaking past 5-3. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 27, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Bishop Eustace Prep got a great performance from Daniel Passalacqua as he struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Passalacqua has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Mason Rosenberg was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dante Matarese, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, Shawnee fell victim to Lenape and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Renegades' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Shawnee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lleyton Coughlin, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Bishop Eustace Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Bishop Eustace Prep has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Shawnee struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.2 hits.
