Alcoa is on  a  five-game streak of home wins, while Farragut is on  a  three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tornadoes will welcome the Admirals  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Alcoa's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Eagleton College & Career Academy with a sharp  11-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won six in a row.
 Kaylea Osborne was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Osborne was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Adrianna King, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Dylan Jablonski, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Alcoa was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eagleton College & Career Academy only posted a  batting average of  .125.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Farragut and Maryville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Admirals blew past the Red Rebels 7-1 on Tuesday.
 Hallie Grace Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Alexa Shrader and  Rylee Raby did most of the damage at the plate:  Shrader  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Raby  went 2-for-3 with one  home run.  Dajah Means was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Alcoa's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Farragut, their win bumped their record up to 20-4-1.
 Alcoa took their  victory against Farragut  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024 by a conclusive  10-0 score. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success,  or do  the Admirals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
