After soaring to 57 points the game before, the McKenzie Eagles were a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They were dealt a 65-22 loss at the hands of Mapleton. McKenzie has struggled against Mapleton recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

McKenzie dropped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.5 points per game. As for Mapleton, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
