After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Riverside finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to the Dunmore Bucks. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Riverside's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Dunmore, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Riverside and Dunmore will both be playing Lakeland the next time they take the field. The Bucks will host the Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
