While Beekmantown might've come up empty on Monday, Steven Bronson wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Bronson was still locked in as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Even though Bronson couldn't lead Beekmantown over Peru, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since June of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
