The Mount Morris Blue Devils will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Mount Morris' game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 55-47 win over Perry.
Mount Morris got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Santini out in front who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Santini is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Constantino, who scored 18 points.
Wayland-Cohocton can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Naples by a score of 48-40. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Wayland-Cohocton has managed all season.
Mount Morris has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Wayland-Cohocton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15.
