In what's become a running theme this season, the Plattsburg Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They really took it to Lutheran for the full four quarters, racking up a 82-39 victory at home. While fans of Plattsburg might be used to big wins, the 43-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Leading Plattsburg to victory were Rylan Langton and Michael "isaia" Howard. Langton scored 25 points along with seven assists and seven steals, while Howard shot 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropped a triple-double on 28 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Howard has scored at least a third of Plattsburg's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tryston Miller, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Plattsburg is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Plattsburg will face off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (East Buchanan is ranked 101st, while the Tigers are ranked 107th). Lutheran is on the road again on Friday and plays the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. St. Louis HomeSchool P will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
