If the Mooseheart Red Ramblers were feeling good off their 82-55 takedown of the Hiawatha Hawks on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mooseheart might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Christian Liberty an easy 82-61 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Red Ramblers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tolu Erinolu, who scored 23 points. The match was Erinolu's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Soko, who scored 17 points.
Mooseheart's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Christian Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Mooseheart will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Unity Christian Academy at 4:45 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Christian Liberty and HomeSchool Resource Center will round out the year against one another at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th at. HomeSchool Resource Center is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
