Cardinal Spellman had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They came up short against Hanover on Friday, falling 12-26. Cardinal Spellman were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hanover apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The defeat started Cardinal Spellman out at 0-1 for the season. The win bumped Hanover's record up to 1-0-1.
Cardinal Spellman will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Bishop Stang. Hanover are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against East Bridgewater at 7:00 PM.
