The Northwood Rangers's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against Crestline by a score of 36-28.
Northwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bree Bolden led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bolden has scored all season. Autumn Schroeder was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Northwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Crestline, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Northwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Waite at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Waite comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Crestline, they will head out on the road to take on Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
