Braggs had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 50-point drubbing they dealt Cave Springs on Monday. The Braggs Wildcats breezed past the Cave Springs Hornets to the tune of 83-33. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Braggs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hazen Edwards, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 boards gave Edwards a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Melton, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 16 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

The victory (which was Braggs' fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.8 points. As for Cave Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Braggs has already played their next contest, an 89-38 win against Buffalo Valley on the 14th. As for Cave Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-26 victory against Oaks-Mission on the 11th.
