Cummings Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Devin Witherspoon
Cummings picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Devin Witherspoon. Witherspoon's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards.
Cummings pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Witherspoon and Cummings will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southeast Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Robert Tripp continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 120 rushing yards. He rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
