The New Brockton Gamecocks can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 74-25 victory over Daleville. Winning may never get old, but New Brockton sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Leading New Brockton to victory were Casey Williams and Ariana Smith. Williams scored 17 points along with four steals, while Smith scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Smith hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniya Barkley, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
New Brockton's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Daleville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Brockton will face off against Opp at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Opp focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 last Friday. As for Daleville, they will head out on the road to face off against Pike County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pike County is on a six-game streak of home losses, Daleville a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
