The American Patriots suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 40-11 loss at the hands of North Miami Beach. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points American has scored all season.
North Miami Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yoshaney Cayaso, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and three steals. Cayaso is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Vanejia Bryant, who scored 12 points along with eight steals.
American's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Miami Beach, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American will face off against Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. North Miami Beach on the road again on Monday and play against Homestead at 4:30 p.m. on January 29th. Homestead is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
